Doing freezers. Gangas is big on those. All the modern players seem to work on avoiding arm run on. They want the arms to stop when the shoulder turn stops.

Molinari lapped the field over the weekend (won by 8 shots). I only saw a few minutes of the tournament live, but enjoyed watching some highlights tonight.

He hit 62 greens in regulation, including all 18 on Friday. Good player and glad he won his first event here in America (he's already won a handful in Europe).

It's a good looking golf swing. I like how level his shoulders rotate through the strike.

Similar thing here. Some horrible shots and some great ones.

This looks like a great concept for an SNL skit.

First thought, "unbelievable, can't be real."

Second thought, their website says a part of their vision is to help golfers who are physically challenged, i.e. those who've had back surgery, strokes. If this device helps those folks keep up with their friends until they reach the putting green, fine.

Third thought, $995 with just a 90 day warranty. Mmmmm.

Why bother - if you're going to that level just stay home and play sim golf. Then you don't have to even worry about sweating.

I had a chance to attend this year's RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey. I went on the Saturday. Was really hoping to see Sergio for the first time ever and follow his group but he promptly missed the cut. I ended up following Tony Finau in the morning and in the afternoon I followed Aaron Baddeley and the 19 year old Chilian Joaquin Niemann. Niemann has a decent swing and certainly gives it a good thump. The course was set up very easy by PGA Tour standards. Not much in the way rough and the greens very accommodating. Dustin Johnston was the winner at -23. Below is a video I took of Niemann's driver swing at the 2nd hole par 5.
