Thanks for putting this together. I'm starting some work on some eye o matics, but they have really skinny necks.
Will it even be possible to flatten them out??

In the end I have some Spaldings I want to customize, but want to get a couple practice projects under my belt first.

When you cut off the top of the neck it will be wider, you might just need to cut it a bit lower down.

For you clubmaker experts....will I encounter problems if I drill into a laminate or should it be fine?
