Thanks Lag! P3 to P4 is the heart and soul of the swing and in watching Peete we can see he is a master.

Swan, I feel Peete swings the club from start to finish with his impact intentions at the helm. What I find especially noteworthy is how he begins the shallow angle of entry at transition. The club head drops behind and underneath setting him up to rip a wheel around his core. I love the driver swings, but minute 3:00 is a great view too.

I just enjoy the older footage...

I love how they could putt with the pin in.
Somehow that turned into a 2 stroke penalty?

They played briskly and their swings looked a lot more automatic. You can see they were feeling their shots more
than what we typically see today.

The 63 US Open at Brookline was a great event. I miss seeing long irons into 4 pars.. on 11 there they were coming in with long irons over water. The green was deep though in shape to allow for that kind of shot. Palmer made 7 in the playoff there.
Windy, high rough, hard greens that didn't roll as pure as today's surfaces. Pretty exciting stuff.

This is a great interview with Toski and Player that was posted over on SITD. I love what they have to say about putting and striking.

I see a small rotation of the arms during transition accompanied by a bowed left wrist. It looks like the club lays off a bunch here, but his impact position is fascinating. Low low low hands, bent right arm, and what seems like a replica of the address angle I mentioned above. Butt end pointing at his core and no wrist flicking. Not exactly a flat swing either.

There are alot of good swings from him on this video. I really like his swing at 34 seconds into the video, you can really see how level he is with his shoulder rotation through impact. The range of motion of his torso from impact to p4 is pretty much unmatched.

Sergio's hand path.

With the pines on the left and the fairway cut, it's a nice background reference to see how his hands move down, not in a straight line to the ball.. but a definitive shallowing of the path.

Module 5, 6 and SS students will relate here. Will pick up this topic in those forum areas.
