I remember as a teenager (1970s), some guys would play a Slazenger ball. They were of smaller diameter. Noticeable to the eye. Supposedly better on windy days. Anybody remember that?

I remember my first ever set of full size clubs was a set of slazenger "Gary Player" my dad bought me from the local pawn shop Im guessing maybe 1972 .
Wish I had them back.
